The Retail Email Index: The top online retailers sent each of their subscribers an all-time high of 6.4 promotional emails on average during the week ending Nov. 30, 2012. That’s up 9% week-over-week, up 50% from where it was four weeks ago, and up 15% year-over-year.
The Retail Email Participation Rate: Monday, which was Cyber Monday, was the most popular day to send retail emails last week.
The Retail Email Seasonality Meter:The holiday season is already dominating email messaging but it should strengthen further over the next few weeks.
