The Retail Email Index: The top online retailers sent each of their subscribers 3.9 promotional emails on average during the week ending June 15, 2012. That’s up 4% week-over-week, up 5% from where it was four weeks ago, and up 24% year-over-year.
The Retail Email Participation Rate: Thursday was the most popular day to send retail emails last week.
The Retail Email Seasonality Meter:For the first time this Father’s Day season, messaging for the holiday was above last year’s levels—although only slightly. There was a bit more focus on e-gift cards and last-minute gifts available in stores than last year.
