The Retail Email Index: The top online retailers sent each of their subscribers 3.7 promotional emails on average during the week ending Aug. 3, 2012. That’s up 3% week-over-week, up 3% from where it was four weeks ago, and up 22% year-over-year.
The Retail Email Participation Rate: Monday was the most popular day to send retail emails last week.
The Retail Email Seasonality Meter:The next two weeks will be the peak of the back-to-school messaging. During this time, roughly 20% of retail emails will refer to back to school.
