For instance, one of the nuggets revealed is that Cyber Monday was the biggest retail email day of the year, with 68% of the top online retailers sending at least one promotional email on Nov. 26. Last year Cyber Monday had been the sixth most popular day of the year to send retail emails. Another stat included in the report is that retailers each sent on average 7.9 emails per month during 2007.
