The 5 Best New Hot Spots Near Dreamforce

During Dreamforce you can find just about anything – food, entertainment, even a premium latte. (Stop by our booth #911 for a free one. * wink wink *)

But, eventually, you’re going to want to get outside and see what’s close by. Last year, we brought you the 10 best walkable destinations near Dreamforce. This time around, we decided to check out some of the new hot spots in the area. All of the destinations have opened for business since last year’s Dreamforce, and we suggest whether it’s a short cab ride or walk away.

1. Best Place to Feel Like an Old Timey Newspaper Pro
Built inside an old newspaper printing room, Local Edition is fast becoming a favorite in the area with old school cocktails and throwback décor. Bring a client or friend and show off your Mad Men aesthetic.

2. Best Place to Try Everything
The food truck craze is in full force in San Francisco. Nowhere is this more clear than the SOMA Streat Food Park. Located in an old parking lot, this new spot features different vendors every day – from Chinese to Waffles, from tacos to falafel.

3. Best Place for Guiltless Snacks
New Tree creates treats like speciality cookies and chocolates that will make your mouth water. They also spare you the guilt. Organic, but just as tasty, you’ll want to bring some goodies home with you.

4. Best Place to Get New Duds
Want some threads to commerate your trip without looking like a tourist? Check out Gangs of San Francisco. This specialty clothing store sells pieces of the region’s rough and tumble past with an in-store experience that feels like waling into a new era.

5. Best Place to Get an Upscale Dish
You might want to take that client out somewhere special. Make a reservation E&O Asian Kitchen. It features an Asian-style cuisine with many modern twists. And with a gluten-free menu, you’re sure to make everyone happy.
