Mobile marketing, namely push, is undergoing a revolution as iBeacons and in-store technologies enable marketers to send more personalized, relevant messages. But push isn’t as simple as sending the same message to every customer.
In fact, it’s a combination of being immediate, personal and accessible that makes push so effective for reaching customers. Yet, many marketers aren’t taking the opportunity that push promises. All that would change if they knew customer engagement increased with push as part of the mix. Half of marketers witness higher open rates on push notifications compared to email, with click-through rates up to twice as high, according to Forrester Research.
To make the most of push, marketers must integrate push with other channels to provide consistent, valuable messages to customers regardless of what device they’re on.
