Each year, the ITC Entrepreneurs’ Forum announces their top picks for their ITC Enterprise Awards. Winners are announced in front of an audience that includes some of the most successful entrepreneurs in the UK Technology Industry at the Annual Dinner. The Awards Dinner is fast becoming the equivalent of the ‘Oscars’ for Technology Entrepreneurs and one of the highlights in the IT industry. This year’s event was attended by some of the IT industry’s biggest names, including Mike Lynch, Founder of Autonomy; Mark Lancaster, Founder Chairman and CEO of SDL; Alastair Lukies, Founder and CEO of Monitise; Mike Tobin, CEO of Telecity; DuaneJackson, Founder and CEO of Kashflow and Richard Holway, ‘Doyen’ of IT Analysts.
That’s why we’re especially thrilled to see that our work is being recognized by one of the industry’s leading organizations. Our very own Mark Simpson has grabbed the “Enterprise” award, which is bestowed upon companies who excel in terms of growth, product innovation and staying power in the marketplace. It has taken a lot of hard work and collaboration with our brand partners, as well as enhancements and additions to both our technology and talent (without them, our clients wouldn’t see the level of conversions they’re enjoying).
Mark Simpson is no stranger to entrepreneurship and knows all too well how to mix the right ingredients of hard work, strategy and intuition to grow a company. And that’s exactly what he’s done since leaving the corporate world at Travelport after establishing it as one of the leading B2C travel companies in Europe. And now he’s planted firmly within our headquarters in New York City (that is, when he’s not speaking at major industry conferences, meeting with customers and, of course, checking in with his global teams).
As the business has grown, both in terms of our global client roster and global team, Mark once again relied on his years of experience and brought on a valuable leader, Tim Brown as CEO, to proactively steer our business towards long-term growth. And of all the moves this leadership duo has made, moving our headquarters to New York City (also known as Silicon Alley among technology and Internet professionals) was one of the biggest and best decisions they made. What’s left for us to achieve? Our team is building out a strong roadmap for our product suite and finding new ways to help brands deliver an ideal customer experience across multiple channels.
All of this hard work and determination to deliver value to our customers has resulted in some impressive accolades with the most recent being named a “leader in the industry” in The Forrester Wave™: Online Testing Platforms, Q1 2013 report. This award, in particular, is a testament to the values of collaboration, pride (in our work and the business as a whole) and respect that lives with every single team and member here at Maxymiser – from product to technology to engineering to marketing to sales. Our business has also garnered other industry awards this year, including being shortlisted for the Entertainment and Gaming category at the Data Strategy Awards 2013 and the Ecommerce Innovation of the Year at the BT Retail Week Technology Awards 2013. Last year, we were ranked in the 2012 Deloitte Technology Fast 500, 2012 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and The Sunday Times Tech Track 100. It will be exciting to see how high our company rises over the next several years – we have an incredible product offering and team behind us!
