The Weekly Inbox is a collection of email marketing messages from across the retail, travel/hospitality and financial services industries that caught my eye for being clever, forward thinking, creative or just plain awesome.
Welcome back to the next installment of The Weekly Inbox.
Here are some emails that caught my eye this past week.
There YOU have it
One of my favorite, if not thee favorite line from a holiday song is "Through the years we all will be together, if the fates allow." This is the line I thought of when I read the headline in this email from Virgin America. Perfect for it elicited an emotional response. Well done.
Big deal... literally.
Love the direct, straight to the point subject line of this email below from Nordstrom: "Gifts Under $100: Big Surprises at Great Prices." Very well done from the copy and visual standpoints.
The above title, minus the question mark, was the subject line which accompanied the email below from Orbitz. Obviously the holidays are a time when many people travel, and like the Virgin America example above, this email does a great job at hitting that emotional quotient.
The toys are back in town
Great example of N.A.S. (Not Always Selling) content here for sure. The characters, as they should, are large and in charge in this email from Disney Insider. Nicely done indeed.
