Here’s some emails that caught my eye this past week.
All together now
The headline in the email below from REI says it all. It's the perfect headline with the perfect design execution to show the benefit to the reader/consumer. Very well done.
Or as we say in Philly, addy-tood
"More attitude in every thread." That was the subject line with this email from Harley-Davidson. Love the subject line AND the call to action. Great blending of hitting the "emotional quotient" (as I like to put it) and the need for speed, in more ways than one.
Restart, Revitalize and Refresh
In addition to the banner's "graduate" reference, which I loved, I enjoyed the big, bold headline and imagery in this email from Nordstrom. I don't know about you, but I could use a refresh right about now.
Raise the roof
Love the minimalistic approach here from Urban Outfitters. The subject line "Party on the Roof" drew me in, then a quick read of the email was all I needed to know I wanted to explore further via their Lookbook. Nicely done.
At the movies
The email below from LEGO is a great example of content marketing specifically repurposing content, in a matter of speaking that is. Playing off the wildly successful LEGO Movie, they are providing their fans another way to stay engaged with the film. Brilliant.
