Here are some emails that caught my eye this past week.
Catch you later
I like this email from Bass Pro Shops for a couple of reasons. One being the headline "Catch of the Week" (big fan of plays on words) and the other for the images of the watches themselves. They're big enough that I can actually see what they look like before I buy.
Readers of The Weekly Inbox know I am a fan of the direct approach,when applicable and this is surely one of those times. The email below form LEGO, which had the subject line "Check out our brand new LEGO® sets now available!" is the perfect example of a bran delivering exactly what is expected in the email. Very well done.
The liberated life
That is actually the headline in the email below from Nordstrom. I loved it so much I used it as the title of the heading for this email. Love it because it is not what one would expect to see and read along with a picture of sandals.
The long and the short of it
As a long time wearer of this particular piece of apparel, the subject line of "Shorts Made Better" caught eye immediately from the email from Under Armour. Then throw in the fact that all of their shorts "do something" and you got me hooked for sure!
Come in from the cold
As one who lives on the East Coast and thus endure an insanely brutal cold winter I am sad to say I was able to answer yes to the question posed in the subject line via the email from Harley-Davidson: "Still cold? New jackets made for this weather." I love the email aside for my personal weather-related reasons as it has a great headline that also serves as a Call To Action in some ways.
