Email marketing: The Weekly Inbox volume 29 (Easter edition)

Lizette Resendez

The Weekly Inbox is a collection of email marketing messages from across the retail, travel/hospitality and financial services industries that caught my eye for being clever, forward thinking, creative or just plain awesome.

Welcome back to the next installment of The Weekly Inbox.

Easter is only 3 days away of course so in honor of that, here's some egg-cellent Easter-themed emails that caught my eye this past week.Sorry for the bad pun.

Strong CTA

I like this email below from Williams-Sonoma (who were among the most active retailers as it pertains to Easter) that arrived in my Inbox on Wednesday for the strong CTA in the subject line: "Last Chance to Order for Easter + Save Up to 50%."

Chances are...

This email, from Harry&David, arrived yesterday morning with the subject line: "Last chance for handcrafted Easter gifts with overnight shipping." I like it for the simple reason it is direct, much like the Williams-Sonoma example above. Right to the point. Perfect.

A new Easter bonnet?

That was precisely my thought when I received this email from JCPenney with the subject line: "Our Easter Sale has everything you need for spring." Nice infusion of Easter colors along with big, bold headlines.

Eat up

"Easter Eats: Brunch Casseroles, Egg Salads & Desserts" was the subject line for this email from Cooking.com and after seeing it I was more than ready to eat up!

Easter 101

I love the subject line "Join us! Easter Experts 101" that accompanied this email from Whole Foods Market. Great email and I love the fact that A) it included the nearest location for this event (In this case Fremont, CA) and B) when you clicked on the image it took you straight to the Facebook Page about the event itself with details, etc. (see below)
