We couldn't be more proud to announce that our fourth annual Email Design Look Book is available for download! This year, the curated collection features twenty stand out campaigns from non-profits to retailers, from the US all the way to Brazil.
The search led by myself, our Research Director, Chad White and Designer, Kathryn Alva helped the team to find email creative that captured cutting edge ideas in our industry including mobile optimization, Pinterest campaigns, personalized content and innovative strategies for defensive design.
In the Email Design Look Book, you'll see how retailer REI found a new way to reach their mobile audience by using media queries and responsive design. The synergy between the desktop and mobile versions of the campaign was flawless, ensuring the most important message was clearly visible regardless of which screen size the subscriber viewed the email.
Helzberg diamonds wowed the industry with their personalized charm bracelet animation. They built 60,000 animated gifs and their subscribers couldn't help but engage with this personalized message. Helzberg saw their engagement and conversion metrics soar with this campaign.
Once the Nike+ Running Application is purchased, Nike welcomes the newest user with a 4-part welcome series dedicated to education about their product, support and community. A Welcome Series can be the perfect opportunity to make sure a customer has all the information necessary to ensure a positive experience with the brand and products.
