Content Marketing Strategy: Using ClicktoTweet to Market Your Marketing

One of the greatest lessons that I have learned from Jay Baer is to "Market Your Marketing".  In my latest post, What is Your Content's Klout Score, I missed a valuable opportunity to "Market my Marketing" because I had valuable and shareable quotes within my post that I didn't give my readers the ability to quickly and easily share.  Learn from me, you should be making it as easy as possible for your customers to share your content.  So in an effort to buy what I'm selling and to "market my marketing", I will start using ClicktoTweet, a cool new tool in beta to help Content Marketers do this very thing.  

Click to tweet allows you to quickly and easily generate a link so that your customers can share your blog posts or tweetable quostes to their followers.  Had I known how to effectively use this tool, I would have used it in my last post.  Here is the section in my latest post that I wrote about putting retweetable quotes in my content, the problem was that I didn't give you a way to share anything!  

So lets try this again. Here are some retweetable quotes from that last post:

  2. The new battlefield for search engine prominence will be full of +1's, Retweets, Likes, Shares, Comments (Tweet this)
  3. We've heard Salespeople should Always Be Closing...Modern Marketers should be Always be Answering (Tweet this)
