Last week I shared an email from Sony highlighting their new product releases at CES, saying that it was a smart way of putting an editorial spin on promotional content (see Jan. 6 AM Inbox). Well, yesterday HP and Barnes & Noble used the same tactic post-show. For instance, in this email, HP promotes four new laptops that they announced at CES.
Barnes & Noble, 1/10 — NOOKcolor Wins Big at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show!
And Barnes & Noble trumpets the “People’s Choice Award” that their NOOKcolor won at CES, bundling that two other glowing quotes. Are there conferences, awards or other events that present an opportunity for you to tout your products?
