J. Jill, 7/9 — Favorite summer styles up to 60% off. Over 200 new markdowns.
J. Jill has redesigned their emails in conjunction with a website relaunch apparently. It would have been nice had they mentioned their website relaunch in their emails and pointed out any improved features (see Website Relaunches and Email Redesigns Should Go Hand in Hand). The redesign appears to be purely cosmetic, with more muted colors and a new logo. As with their email design, they’re not making good use of the space to the right of their logo. They could use that space for their preheader text or for links to their online catalog and perhaps search box, as they do on their site.
Over the next three months is an ideal time to wrap up any site redesigns before the holiday season is in full gear.
