AM Inbox: It convinced us to drop our pants

RetailEmail.Blogspot monitors the email marketing campaigns of more than 100 of the top online retailers. Here are highlights from our inbox this morning:

Banana Republic, 7/20, 11 pm — Drop Your Pants for charity, get 15% off...
Kudos to Banana for a concise and extremely intriguing subject line. It’s probably the best one we’ve seen all month. Beyond the subject line, the event it promotes is likely to draw good traffic from the civic-minded and bargain-craving alike who are willing to clear their closets of a few pairs of pants in order to get new ones for the fall.

ProFlowers, 7/21, 8 am — ProFlowers Subscription Notice: Update Your Address Book
We got a nice letter from CEO Bill Strauss today saying that “all ProFlowers emails, offers, and updates will soon be sent from: proflowers@offers.proflowers.com” and to “please add proflowers@offers.proflowers.com to your Address Book (or safe list, if you have one).” ProFlowers had been sending newsletter emails from proflowers@promotions.proflowers.com.
