AM Inbox: In case you missed the site relaunch announcement

>>Free Webinar on email competitive intelligence on Nov. 15 at 2pm EST. Get the details.

RetailEmail.Blogspot monitors the email marketing campaigns of more than 100 of the top online retailers. Here are highlights from our inbox this morning:

Tiffany, 11/5 — Discover Men's Designs
Following the announcement of their site relaunch in an Oct. 8 email (see Oct. 9 AM Inbox), Tiffany has continued to plug their new and improved site in four other emails, including this one. They’ve mainly been touting their new search functionality. For subscribers that missed the initial announcement, including these additional references should help spread awareness. Coldwater Creek used a similar tactic when it announced their site design, mentioning the relaunch as a secondary item in a number of subsequent emails (see June 4 AM Inbox).

Blue Nile, 11/5 — Blue Nile Customers Save 10% + Free Overnight Shipping
Blue Nile tells subscribers that they’ve redesigned their site, making it easier to find education and guidance. Here is what the site looked like toward the beginning of the year, courtesy of the Internet Archive. At first glance, the big change is the addition of a third column on the home page that contains news clips about Blue Nile, customer testimonials, and links to their education section and feedback. But the overall look of the site is the same.

Buy.com, 11/5 — 10 in 1 Crank Weather Radio = $11.99, Speakerphone = $12.99, Philips Digital Frame, Logitech Cordless Desktop,..
Buy.com tweaks their product listing design, adding the logo of the manufacturer and a link to other products made by the manufacturer.

…and here’s what the old design looked like:

This is not the first time this year that Buy.com has experimented with the design of their product listings. Back in March, they added Digg and Del.icio.us links to the product listings, but removed them several weeks later (see March 22 AM Inbox). Kudos to them for trying new things.

In this email, Buy.com also debuts a “New this week on BuyTV!” section, highlighting video segments on four products. This is the most prominently that they have ever promoted their BuyTV content.
