AM Inbox: Even footers deserve makeovers

The Retail Email Blog monitors the email marketing campaigns of more than 100 top online retailers. Here are highlights from my inbox this morning:

Sports Authority, 3/4 — From The Backyard To The Big Leagues - Sports Authority Has Everything You Need‏
Sports Authority has redesigned their footers so that they’re much, much easier to navigate. The biggest change that they moved all their offer exclusions—which were extremely lengthy on occasion—to their website. Other positive changes included introducing subheads to aid navigation, left-justifying the footer text, and not using “click here” for any of their link text. Here’s the new footer copy (left) and the previous footer style from a Feb. 21 email:
