CB2, 3/6 — attention (to detail)
CB2 does one of the best jobs of coordinating their email and catalog channels for maximum impact. First, this email arrived on the same day that the catalog did (at least for me). Second, the email includes a banner promoting the digital version of the catalog, which they call a “flipbook.” And third, the email borrows the catalog’s cover image but applies new text to it that’s more appropriate for the email channel. CB2 has repurposed catalog covers for emails in the past to great effect (see Aug. 18, 2010 AM Inbox). Here’s the email…
