I'm lazy so I'll just copy Jirka's email...
Hello community, stabilization of NetBeans 5.5 is approaching rapidly and so we are happy to invite you to participate in our testing program well known as NetCAT 5.5. If you are interested in this initiative, please read below since this version of NetCAT is special in several aspects. First of all, NetCAT 5.5 will follow focus of NetBeans 5.5 release which is JavaEE support. Having said that we are looking mainly for J2EE developers who will test these new J2EE features: \* Web Services \* EJB 3.0 Support \* Java Persistence Support \* New Web Tier Technologies (Servlet 2.5, JSP 2.1, JSF 1.2) \* Enterprise Application Client Project \* ... and many more Secondly, this time we won't limit number of participants in any way. On the other hand this means that no checking of individual activity will be done during the program. The best participants will be rewarded in the end of course. Thus, if you would be willing to help us with quality of NetBeans 5.5 and have experience with J2EE development, sign up for the program ! More information is available here: http://qa.netbeans.org/processes/cat/55/index.html Best regards, Jiri Kovalsky NetCAT 5.5 program coordinatorThe post on the mailing list. Are you ready to join?
