DTrace is a performance analysis and troubleshooting tool. DTrace allows dynamic tracing by defining probe points dynamically. Probes and actions at probe points are defined by commands and scripts written in the D language.

Oracle Linux Certification Exam Beta Extended

Coming Soon: New Oracle Linux Advanced Certification

With the new Oracle Linux 6 Advanced System Administration (1Z1-105) OCP certification you can prove fluency in and a solid understanding of Oracle Linux administration. To pass this professional-level exam, you must be able to perform advanced system administration tasks in a complex environment.

Pre-registration for the beta phase of this new certification exam begins on September 20th and you can start sitting the exam from October 4th. Get Oracle Linux Certified at Much Reduced Price

You have already heard the great news that you can now prove your knowledge on Oracle Linux 5 and 6 with the new Oracle Certified Associate, Oracle Linux 5 and 6 System Administrator exam.

Until December 21th 2013, this exam is in beta phase so you can get a fully-fledged certification at a much reduced price; for example $50 in the United States or 39 euros in the euro zone.

Establishing What You Need to Know

Your first step is to click on the Exam Topics tab on the certification page. You will see a list of topics that you will be tested on during the certification exam. These are the areas that you need to improve your knowledge on, if you are not already expert.

Registering For a Certification Exam

On the certification page, click on Register for this Exam. The Pearson VUE site guides you through signing up for an event at a date and location to suit you.

Preparing to Take an Exam

On the certification page, click on the Exam Preparation tab. This indicates the recommended training that can help you prepare to sit the exam.
