Oracle Linux Certification Exam Beta Extended

If you want to take advantage of the greatly reduced prices of the Oracle Linux 6 Advanced System Administrator Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) exam (1Z1-105) during the beta program, you will be happy to know that the beta program has been extended to February 7th. 

As a reminder, during the beta phase you get a completely valid certification at a fraction of the price. So it is time to get back to your study and to look at registering for an exam event.

One step in preparing for this certification could be taking the 5-day Oracle Linux Advanced Administration course. You can take this course as a:

  • Live-Virtual Event: Attend a live event from your own desk, no travel required. Choose from a selection of events on the schedule to suit different timezones. Events already on the schedule include 8 December 2014, 12 and 26 January, 9 and 22 February 2015.
  • In-Class Event: Travel to an education center to attend a class: Below is a selection of the events already on the schedule.

If you have not yet reached the expert level of Oracle Linux system administration necessary to consider the OCP certification, perhaps you should start by acquiring a broad range of basic system administration skills. You can do so by taking the 5-day Oracle Linux System Administration course.

This course is available in the following formats:

  • Training-on-Demand: Start training within 24 hours of registration, following lecture materials at your own pace through streaming video and booking time on a lab environment to suit your schedule.
  • Live-Virtual Event: Attend a live event from your own desk, no travel required. Choose from a selection of events on the schedule to different timezones including 1 December 2014, 5, 19, and 26 January, 8 and 16 February 2015.
