News, tips, partners, and perspectives for the Oracle Linux operating system and upstream Linux kernel work

New Training Topics for Oracle Linux on Cloud

A small subset of Oracle Linux administration tasks are specific to cloud. This includes tools and appliances we have provided to make your life easier.

We guide you through these cloud tasks in the Use Oracle Linux on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure course, which is part of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Learning Subscription.

This course is made up of short, easy-to-consume videos that lead you through tasks around deployment, security, networking and storage.

New videos have just been added to the Use Oracle Linux on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure course, so you can now learn about:

  • oci_utils - manage an instance from within an instance
  • Oracle Linux Storage Appliance - build NFS and Samba shared storage using NVMe or block devices
  • Block volume storage
  • Configuring and testing OCFS2 cluster

Core Linux system administration skills are the same on and off cloud, so continue learning through the Oracle Linux curriculum.
