AQ - Weblogic JMS Connectivity using Weblogic JMS Bridge

This white paper will help configure a JMS Bridge between AQ queues and Weblogic JMS queues. Thanks to Robert Patrick who helped me in this. It was a great learning. The configuration is pretty simple once the things are known. Download the PDF - here. Please note that the images are not clear in this one as I have created a PDF for web. Mail me incase you need the file with clear images. Obviously, the file size in big in size. <script type="text/javascript"> var gaJsHost = (("https:" == document.location.protocol) ? "https://ssl." : "http://www."); document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src="" + gaJsHost + "google-analytics.com/ga.js" type='text/javascript'%3E%3C/script%3E")); </script> <script type="text/javascript"> try { var pageTracker = _gat._getTracker("UA-12405255-1"); pageTracker._trackPageview(); } catch(err) {}</script>

Hi, Excellent article, also with the overview of the different options. I am more or less working on the same, integration between Oracle JMS (may be OC4J or AQ) and Sonic MQ. I have set my expectations now on Oracle JMS Router. Can you please send me the high resolution PDF? (Can't find your email address.) Regards, Erik Ykema

Hi All: This blog entry applies to WebLogic versions 10.3 and earlier. Version 10.3.1 ands direct support for AQ-JMS integration, and version 10.3.2 adds bridge support. See the "Interoperating with Oracle AQ JMS" chapter of the JMS configuration guide ( http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/web.1111/e13738/aq_jms.htm#JMSAD565 ). Tom

Hi, Yes, Tim is PARTLY right. This entry is applicable ONLY to Weblogic 9i. It doesnt work with Weblogic 10.0 and above. I am coming with a new entry for WL 10.3.1 (as noted by Tim in his URL). -pavan

For WL 10.0 (until WL 10.3.0), we need to use wlfullclient.jar which needs to be created manually. Please go through WL document for this. I will try to include that in my entry. We have direct integration of AQJMS in WL 10.3.1 (WL 11g) -pavan

If you feel you need further guidance after reading this helpful article, here are some further resources: * To help diagnose bridge problems, see the FAQ chapter of the bridge documentation ( http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/web.1111/e13741/bridgefaq.htm#sthref13 ). * The bridge is not the only option for remote JMS integration, and is normally only recommended for "store-and-forward" style patterns where the remote destination is not always available. For a survey of the various options, and some guidance on when to apply them, see the general JMS connectivity FAQ at ( http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/web.1111/e13727/interop.htm#JMSPG553 ). * Feel free to post questions on the WebLogic JMS newsgroup. Hope this helps, Tom

Hello, Thanks for the brilliant article, I dont usually leave remarks but your post inspired me!! I just had a look at one of those Ipads and they look good, although the screen is big I like it. I can see a lots of them needing support when the screen breaks :) Keep up the good work and look forward to more posts

Hey! It’s like you understand my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, just like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some images to drive the content home a bit, but other than that, this is good blog. A great read. I will certainly revisit again.

I admit, I have not been on this webpage in a long time... however it was another joy to see It is such an important topic and ignored by so many, even professionals. I thank you to help making people more aware of possible issues.Great stuff as usual.

I and also my pals appeared to be taking note of the best guides located on your website and then all of a sudden I had a horrible suspicion I had not thanked the site owner for those secrets. All of the young boys ended up as a consequence passionate to study them and already have clearly been taking pleasure in those things. Thanks for actually being very kind and also for deciding upon some notable topics millions of individuals are really desperate to know about. My very own sincere regret for not expressing appreciation to you earlier.
