I spoke with Aaron yesterday at Mediagrid and we're moving forward on pursuit of federal research grants to fund the Immersive Education work. James emailed back that he thought it might be an interesting platform for the K-Web so that's cool for Patrick and I to check on. In the "too cool to qualify" category, I head out tomorrow afternoon for a private tour of Pixar Animation Studios as part of the Berkeley Art Museum/Pacific Film Archive group (thanks mom for supporting a good cause). I'll post some of the photo's from the famed campus. Then, we're all off to Educause next week in my new position as well as we've finally settled that my focus will move to only e-Learning while Art takes over support for the library and museum communities. We'll all still be working closely together as new media learning services are going to involve faculty, librarians and students. We're just splitting up the workload which is great as I can spend more time with the folks at Blackboard, Sakai, Moodle, Elluminate, Xythos, Sharestream, VX30 and the Commons community. See ya'll in Dallas.
