    Hey Kevin, do you know if J/Monkey is available for Solaris? All of my attempts to use it on Solaris have failed because there are native method calls in it.

    I spoke with Mark at JEM. Here's his reply"

    We use LWJGL for our underlying rendering API, so we are at the mercy of what they support. Currently, I don't know of an Open Solaris build. However, if you were to contact them (www.lwjgl.org) and ask, jME would immediately work."

    so, off to contact LWJGL next...

    JWJGL only available at the moment on windows, linux and macos. Target is to to the solaris work with darkstar university partner like st paul college in minnesota
