Imagine outfitting 140,000 classrooms in a country with interactive technology so that every child in 5th and 6th grade can have access and learn at an affordable price. Well, look no further than our friends to the South in Mexico where Sun has just won a $400 million deal to outfit those classrooms with starting with phase 1 of more than 27,000 Sun ultra 20s running windows of all things. The project is called Enciclomedia and sets a model that kids, teachers and parents can be excited about. The first half of the systems have been deployed on time and on budget. It's something we'll be looking to do around other national information infrastructure projects where the government is as pro-active and visionary as Mexico. It's also one of my favorite places to spend a vacation and just hangout by the sea.
