Exploring Mobility, Chatbots, Blockchain and Augmented Reality solutions in the Cloud to re-imagine Education & Research

Digital Repository 101

Director, Digital Experience
Most of our leading-edge customers are organizing themselves to
prepare for the upcoming wave of new media materials for
teaching and learning by using a 3-tier model for
on-line, near-line and off-line access and digital preservation.

Armed with a really cool set of products in the space
including the Honeycomb technology and storagetek
gear, we're going to lead a community discussion in
Education Commons to build out the reference models,
design artifacts and best practices with our key COE
partners like Stanford, Oxford, Cornell and the National
Library of New Zealand.

So, while we push the front end tools from digital
hollywood into the hands of kids we can prepare the
back-end infrastructure to ingest, manage and distribute
those digital assets as the Open Archive Initiative
has recommended and in way that everyone can share
and participate in the process.
