Exploring Mobility, Chatbots, Blockchain and Augmented Reality solutions in the Cloud to re-imagine Education & Research

The Clock of the Long Now project is a really interesting way to think about time in design. (http://www.longnow.org/projects/clock/). In a similar way, a sunlabs research project called Celeste may provide a way for us to think about mutable object stores in education that live on a distributed set of devices all over the web which provide a persistent memory archive for our digital records.

I'm looking to fund a small collaborative community with our pioneering librarians and archivists to investigate it's potential. I should have the proposal together for Glen shortly while also posting a community on Education Commons for those that may wish to track it's development.

Stay Tuned.

I read this post and had to smile.

Sure the Long Now Project changes the way you think about time. And project Celeste has already changed the way I think about mutable object stores in education that live on a distributed set of devices all over the web. I can honestly say that my thoughts on the subject are very different today than the thoughts I had on the subject yesterday! 8-)
