Thailand is easily one of the most friendly and colorful
countries of the world to visit. We spent the past week
doing our education training for sales and partners to
build on our success of the past year. A week of
great conversation, delicious food and local highlights
brought us all together to prepare plans for our
upcoming year. I highly recommend the sheraton
sukhumvit if you plan to visit Bangkok. Terrific
service, good food and a great band in the disco
at street level.
After Thailand, we headed for Malaysia for a forum on
education at the International Islamic Institute of
Malaysia. Our hosts were gracious, knowledgeable
and engaging as we spent the day advancing the
key issues facing education and Sun's unique approach
to bridging the digital divide. I wish the best for our
hosts and hope days like this advance the interests
of cultural understanding between the west and
the islamic world.
After our arrival today in Singapore, we headed down
to clarke quay for the ever-famous, and never duplicated,
black pepper crab. Sure enough, a beautiful 5 pd creature
covered in pepper sauce and accomanpied by a
cold tiger beer.
it's back to san francisco friday where there is so much
to do to get going on my initiative with the sun
gaming group and the digital hollywood university
project in the next month ahead.
