NetBeans translatedfiles community started NetBeans 6.7 IDE localization on Sun's CTI. Do you know CTI? It stands for Community Translation Interface. You can see the CTI on
OpenSolaris, OpenSSO, OpenDS, OpenOffice.org and GlassFish. I believe more languages, more projects for open sources are coming. Try to watch the video on CTI blog to understand it and how it works.
16 language projects running on CTI for NetBeans 6.7
NetBeans community tried the CTI as dry run and have succeeded to release NetBeans Platform localization for 12 languages at NetBeans 6.7 Beta! For NetBeans 6.7 official release, now our community are working on 16 languages - German, French, Turkish, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Albanian, Czech, Korean, Polish, Russian, Traditional Chinese, Swedish, Arabic, Indonesian and Galician.
