Checking if my CPU support virtualization features

Before going further to install xVM withing openSolaris , I wanted to know if a simple command line exists within OpenSolaris, to tell me if INTEL VT-x feature is or is not supported on my MacBook Pro having an INTEL Core 2 duo.

I didn't find a single command line, but here is a two steps procedure if you do have an INTEL based x86 HW, and you are planning to use xVM Server that needs such features at the CPU level.

1. psrinfo

use the psrinfo -p -v t get a full description of your CPUs.

On a Mac Book Pro, I got:

kb160538@macsolaris:~$ psrinfo -p -v
The physical processor has 2 virtual processors (0 1)
  x86 (GenuineIntel 1067A family 6 model 23 step 10 clock 2650 MHz)
Intel(r) Core(tm)2 Duo CPU     T9550  @ 2.66GHz

2. check with the CPU manufacturer

Check INTEL website and select the corresponding CPU found in step 1:

For my case, I got a T9550, and it's supported (check Core 2 Mobile platforms)

Anything similar with AMD ?
