Oracle prepares to welcome students to new virtual internship

Students are a critical source of talent for Oracle. Every year, we look for the best and brightest summer interns to help us create the future. So when COVID-19 required us to change our approach for interns, we did what Oracle does best: We found innovative solutions to problems through the use of technology.

Oracle has been working hard to adapt our internship program so that we can provide a safe and meaningful learning experience for students. Now, more than ever, it’s crucial that Oracle continues to help shape the next generation of problem-solvers.

With this in mind, we’re delighted to confirm that we’ll be welcoming our incoming students for an all-new virtual internship. While there’s no doubt that this will be a new experience for all of us, one thing remains clear: We aim to deliver the same engaging, industry-leading training as before.

Our company culture is built to support remote teams and flexible working, so we’re fortunate to already have the infrastructure, technology, and collaboration tools we need to make this a successful and rewarding time for interns.

From product development to marketing, our virtual internships will continue to cover a variety of technical and non-technical business areas. Each program will be designed to help students discover their talents, build new skills, and create connections.

Interns can look forward to virtual events like onboarding, training, interactive workshops, mentorship and buddy programs, guest speakers—and of course, lots of fun, team-building activities like virtual volunteering too.

To our incoming interns: We can’t wait to virtually welcome you all to Oracle! Bring your creativity and enthusiasm—we’ll give you everything you need to succeed.
