No Exceptions to Customer Satisfaction

For Mihir, Principal Technical Support Engineer, there are no exceptions to customer satisfaction. In the 2+ years that he’s been with Oracle, he’s provided tactical and technical support for Oracle Cloud’s Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, such as Oracle Engagement Cloud. “As part of Oracle Platinum Services, I’m actively engaged with critical customers and accounts during their implementation phase,” Mihir states.

“This is where the action is,” Mihir affirms. Operating under Oracle Support’s principle of customer satisfaction as its highest priority, he helps customers in educating them about best practices when working with Oracle Cloud “for an optimal and smooth user experience, mitigating risks in live production environments.”

Drawn to Oracle by the company’s “rock-solid” products, Mihir sees a promising future in a career as part of the Oracle Support team. “I’ve worked on Oracle products since the inception of my career. As more and more applications move to Oracle Cloud, customers rely less on their internal IT teams, with most responsibilities taken over by Oracle. This means you’re constantly exposed to new technologies as part of Oracle Support,” Mihir explains.

This changing IT landscape brings about a series of new, exciting challenges. Mihir, not one to stand still, acknowledges that “cloud technology changes rapidly, and thus needs to be learned quickly and applied on the job.” This mindset makes Mihir an ideal candidate for prestigious invitations to events such as Oracle Open World, where he’s been a presenter for the last few years on Extensibility best practices. “There is so much to learn and teach at the same time in this job,” Mihir says.
