How would you describe your experience in the NetSuite BDR program in Malaysia?
I found it a very enlightening and eye-opening experience, as it was the first time in my life that I had to make cold calls and effectively listen to, learn from, and manage different personalities over the phone to best represent the company and its products.
How’s it like to work in the NetSuite BDR team? How is a day in the life of a BDR (Inbound) in your team?
It’s a demanding job in which key performance indicators and targets need to be met, but it also fosters a strong bond between team members. We’ve learnt how to adapt and help each other to achieve our targets as individuals and as a team.

From a corporate perspective, we’re able to educate and enlighten businesses on how they can grow and be productive in an increasingly competitive environment.
From a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) perspective, we can touch the lives of many under-privileged people through the voluntary work that we do, whilst simultaneously increasing awareness within ourselves as to how privileged we are.

Oracle NetSuite’s culture is defined by its workforce’s diverse backgrounds and a very constructive, though competitive, work environment.
What are the career opportunities available in your team? What specific qualities or skills are you looking for in filling those roles?
Existing BDRs may be promoted to Solution Consultants or Account Executives, based on their performance, competence, and passion for said positions. We provide 12–15 months of training to BDRs to prepare them for their next role, based on available vacancies.
We’re looking for people with specific qualities: responsibility, accountability, transparency, diligence, and honesty.
