#1 How do you recruit top talent?
We do our recruiting in a different number of ways and we try not to leave any path unbeaten. New open positions are posted on popular job sites, where candidates can easily find them!
We’re also very keen on social hiring – you can find all our recent job openings on our dedicated social media pages: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. Be sure to like and follow these pages to stay up to date with our job news!
One of our top sources for hiring is via Oracle employee referrals. Put your connections to work and ask them to recommend you for a job that you’re interested in.
Of course, we also host and attend networking events and career fairs. Here potential employees can talk to recruiters and hiring managers face-to-face. We also recruit at a campus near you!
#2 What kind of jobs do you have available?
Oracle is looking for talent in varied fields of expertise: finance, logistics, customer service, HR, management, communications & marketing, retail, design, consulting, but our biggest focus is on Cloud development and sales.

#3 Where should I look for new job postings?
Our social pages are constantly updated, being the easiest way to look for new jobs. Candidates can also use our talent management platform Taleo to search for Oracle jobs by selecting relevant criteria like location, category or keywords. Taleo even features a section where you can find jobs that match your professional profile.
#4 What’s the recruiting process and how long does it take?
Our internal recruiting process doesn’t differ in many ways from the one you already know. The first step is for you to apply.
If your resume matches the skills and experience required for the role, you will be contacted by a Recruiter for a preliminary phone interview. Depending on the role; what follows next can differ. You can expect a series of technical and/or job-skills related interviews with your hiring superiors. You may also have the opportunity to interview with the team you will support.
If you successfully nail all of these interviews, you’ve reached the finish line. Now, all that’s left is the pre-employment screening process. There’s no clear duration for the completion of the entire recruitment process; as it depends on the role you are interviewing for.
#5 What kind of qualities are you looking for in an employee?
There’s no secret recipe for candidate success but having impressive role-related experience and knowledge is clearly a plus. We are mostly inspired by candidates who are truly passionate by what they do and dare to push boundaries.
Our hires are strong, smart, energetic personalities who excel in their role and have the potential to bring extra value to the business. As for fresh graduates, a proof of excellent academic results or additional co-curricular activities is a must.
We also evaluate future hires based on their soft skills – positivity, superior communication abilities, and sense of team work and/or leadership capabilities.
