Oracle at the Chambers Ireland CSR Awards

On Thursday 12th September 2013, the Chambers Ireland Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards took place in Dublin. These awards are held annually in partnership with Business in the Community Ireland and in association with the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government.
The purpose of the CSR awards is "to recognise the work being carried out by Irish and Multinational companies to improve the lives of their employees and to enhance the civic environment in which they operate."
2013 marks the 10th anniversary of these prestigious awards and saw Oracle Ireland receive nominations in three separate categories.
"Excellence in Community - Community Programme - Multinational Company" for the Oracle Volunteer Programme, "Excellence in Community - Volunteering - Multinational Company" for the Oracle Sales Masterclass and "Excellence in Workplace" for the Oracle Language Exchange Program.
While Oracle unfortunately didn't pick up any of these awards, we were delighted to receive the nominations which recognised the fantastic efforts of the Leadership in Society Team in Ireland. The ongoing work of this team and all the Oracle Ireland employees who devote their time to the many LIS Projects, will certainly result in nominations for the 2014 awards.
