Life at Oracle: Oracle Direct ANZ

Have you heard of Oracle Direct? Wondering what value Oracle Direct could deliver for you? If you’re reading this then you’re likely to be, currently or potentially, a customer, a partner or even an employee of Oracle. The beauty of Oracle Direct is that we can add value to everyone associated with Oracle.
Before I jump into the value we can bring let me quickly explain the make up of the Oracle Direct ANZ team. We have people ranging from the technical side such as ex-DBA’s and Business Intelligence experts through to sales people skilled in working with customers to identify how Oracle can continue to add value to their organisation. Both the techo’s and sales people work hand in hand to ensure we deliver valued information right across the full range of Oracle’s Technology and Fusion Middleware solutions.
So if you are:
A) A Customer – Oracle Direct is your “always” there point of contact with Oracle Corporation. Being a telephone based environment your Oracle Direct Account Manager is never too far away from the phone (in fact they’re usually talking on it!!). Make sure you know who your Oracle Direct rep is so they can deliver fast and efficient service to your enquiries and needs
B) A Partner – One part of the Oracle Direct team works exclusively with our Oracle Partners. That is the our role is to manage our existing accounts, identify potential solutions to their needs and requirements and then quickly engage one of our Oracle Partners who can the work through and deliver the solution as necessary. Do you have ideas on how to market Oracle Licensing and your services, or even Oracle Licensing along with your solution, then speak to us and just consider the extension to your sales force that Oracle Direct could add to your team for a specific campaign?
C) An Oracle Employee – Oracle Direct is continually contacting our customer base and looking to improve the way our products deliver benefits to our customers. Similar to the partner concept, if you have an idea on how Oracle Direct could help you identify ways that we can add value to Oracle’s existing and potential customers then come talk to us, make use of these enthusiastic resources who could add significant value to your business!
