We asked George Schembri, Technology Sales Representative for the UAE Financial Sector to give us an insight into his career with Oracle! He joined the company on July 1st 2010, and he had worked for large Multinationals handling Software and Hardware as Sales Director or Sales Manager. George says “The decision to join Oracle to handle the Financial Sector was exciting and challenging, and there was no hesitation from my side to be part of this great company that is transforming the IT industry!"
"My Current role is to sell the Technology stack as well as the industry changing Engineered system into the Financial sector in the United Arab Emirates. The Financial Sector is an exciting and ever-changing industry that keeps you excited and motivated and takes you to a different level of discussion within the business. I work directly with customers and also with our large partner network to deliver solutions to our customers’ problems.
George and his team are very focused on delivering end to end solution to Oracle's Financial Sector customers. “There are many career paths within the team, it depends on where you want to go, Technology, Hardware, Applications, Consulting, Management etc. The opportunity to grow in Oracle is there, you just need to define your path and move forward.”
