Oracle SSI is part of Oracle Consulting. We’re the Center of Excellence for Cloud Delivery for customers across the EMEA and JAPAC regions. Oracle SSI covers skills across the entire stack of Oracle products. The ERP team within Oracle SSI is currently recruiting Principal and Senior Principal Consultants, with functional skills in finance and project portfolio management, to play Lead and Architect roles in Cloud implementations. They would help customers in shaping their cloud journey, and helping them to migrate to Cloud.

Why did you join the Oracle SSI team?
I joined the Oracle SSI team as a Consultant over 17 years ago. Over the years, I’ve seen myself grow with the organization. It’s an exciting time to be part of Oracle SSI, the #1 Cloud Delivery Center of Excellence across EMEA and JAPAC. The ERP team has embarked on an accelerated growth journey to help customers migrate to Cloud, with lots of learning. It’s an opportunity where we get first-hand experience in implementing cutting-edge Oracle Cloud applications for enterprise customers to do better digitally in their business. The team has a wide-ranging talent pool, including functional and technical roles, business analysts, industry experts, solution architects, and enterprise architects.
How’s it like to work with the Oracle SSI team? How is a day in the life of a Consultant in your team?
Oracle SSI is a global, diverse business whose charter is to help customers implement Oracle products. With the ERP team, you’re exposed to customers across cultures and regions. What you get is rich project experiences across multiple industries, including: financial services, telecom, public sector, professional services, and retail. This is a place where we experience the end-to-end lifecycle of Oracle Cloud implementations, using our own methodology called True Cloud Method (TCM).
We get to brainstorm and identify ideas and innovations that help customers in their Cloud migration, and in bringing innovation to life. The work is inspiring, as it takes our careers to new heights—and the opportunity to learn is big. It provides an opportunity to consultants to be amongst the best in the industry, and be surrounded by positive thinkers. It’s a chance to become an integral part of an elite team that provides innovation solutions to customers to migrate to Cloud.
Why do you enjoy working with Oracle SSI? What inspires you in your role?
Oracle SSI provides new challenges and learning opportunities continuously. It has helped shape my career. I have the responsibility to build the ERP Cloud team from the ground up, and to see that the team produces the desired results. This is a challenge—given the fast pace of the cloud business—and I want to be able to put together a team of top performers, and lead them in growing their careers. There’s a great feeling of camaraderie and never a dull moment in the role and in the team.
What are the career opportunities available in your team?
To be successful in the role, you should have in-depth knowledge of industry business processes and leading practices, along with ERP Cloud module knowledge. The role demands talking to customers across regions and recommending business processes and best practices on system usage. We’re looking for Financial Consultants and Project Portfolio Management Consultants with good experience in handling stream lead and Solution Architect responsibility on ERP Cloud products.
