SAS Enterprise ETL Server Benchmark on Sun Solaris 10

In case you still haven't seen this SAS press release . It was on Sun Fire 15K. Wish they had tried it on Sun Fire E25K.

Quote: "SAS demonstrated the world-class performance of SAS Enterprise ETL Server through the completion of a 2.2 terabyte (trillion bytes) throughput in less than 90 minutes, representing over 21 GB/Hour/CPU – a world record based on published benchmarks."

Comments:

Jignesh, Wondering if you've ever done any EII benchmarking on Solaris. If not, how would one get started on this. As you may know, EII plays well in the BIDW space. Thanks, Tim
