Hey Jim, Do you have any info on Common Criteria eval for Solaris 11 ? Is there a schedule for it to be submitted, evaluated, and expected 'pass' time frame ?

I believe we plan submit for CC evaluation but unsure as to the level and protection profiles required. As you may know there has been considerable change in NIST and DoD policy on CC evaluations in the last two years.

Hi,

Solaris is a great OS!

Our system admin showed me some of the impressive features like
zfs, zones, virtual networks, svcadm , ...
And I want to use is for my home server, but
it has one small disadvantage , you must learn to know
this great os :-)
