You will never pound a sledgehammer on your hard driver, but how often are we terrified about the thought of our laptop/notebook accidentally dropped on a hard floor--and thus losing all our data?

This is great material for advocating Indiana, which uses root ZFS, for laptops/notebooks. Perhaps it should be mandatory. :-)

Hi,
maybe I'm wrong but it looks like the array re-starts working only when he unplugged the damaged drive... it wasn't working before...
