Solaris in NYT

A little blurb on the Solaris platform by Steve Lohr in the New York Times a couple of hours ago:

In the long term, free software is a threat to Microsoft and its proprietary business model. But so far, Microsoft has been a winner in the transition to lower-cost technology. Those millions of industry-standard server computers being installed in corporate data centers run mainly Windows or Linux systems. And Sun Microsystems is making a big push to offer its Unix operating system, Solaris, on low-cost standard servers.

Too bad Lohr couldn't squeeze in OpenSolaris. We're making a pretty big push there, too.
