Smarter and Greener

Who Will Succeed Al Gore?: "You can't make a product greener without making it smarter and more in demand -- whether it is a refrigerator or a microchip. Just ask GE or Wal-Mart or Sun Microsystems." -- Thomas Friedman
Comments:

First and foremost I think the work that companies like Sun and IBM are doing to make servers green is great. So many data centers need more servers and less power.

I would also like to point out that Al Gore is a moron. There are so many lies in that movie you lose count. All he did was read a script and then go around promoting it. If global worming is true and I don't think it is, there is nothing we can do about it at this point. I would also ask anyone who thinks that global warming is true to look at the facts rather than another left winged socialist prop film that is filled with lies and exaggerations to boot.

Keep up the green work but don't prop up an idiot.

I love the efficiency revolution that rmi.org kickstarted and Sun has joined in a big way. It makes so much sense all around.

As for Gore? His main house (1 of 5) uses more electricity in a week than mine does in 6 months! He is just another "do as I say not as I do" loser politician.

Go vote for Ron Paul if you want real change!!!

Hey I like Tim!

We agree and I happen to like "most" of what Ron Paul is saying. He just needs to get out there and preach it a little more. I think people would wake up cause HC ain't going to make things better.

Jim your math problems are getting harder. I am having to use fingers now.

Sorry about the math. :) Also, I'm not a Gore fan, per say, since he lives in a different world from us regular people. All pols do. I do like it that we made it into that article, though. :)

Nuclear power is the answer. It sure seems to work in Japan and France. And it seems to work in Japan despite earthquakes. Go figure. Maybe the Japanese and French are just more courageous than the rest of the human race.

I'm glad to see TVA's Browns Ferry Unit One is back on line as of June 8the after 22 years.

There have been so many advancements in nuclear energy in the almost 30 years since Three Mile Island. It is time to put the past behind us, and it is time for the panophobics to get out of the way.
