Application Lifecycle Management

According to Wikipedia, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) regards the process of delivering software as a continuously repeating cycle of inter-related steps: definition, design, development, testing, deployment and management. There are many ALM tools available to help you with that, and you are probably using several of them:

  • Defect Tracking system
  • Source Code Management system
  • Test Management system
  • Project Management system
  • Requirements Management system
  • Build Management system
  • etc
The JDeveloper team (see Susan Duncan's blog) is looking into adding better integration with ALM tools and would love to know what tools you are using today. This is your chance to let Oracle know for which tools you would like better integration! If you are interested, take 2 minutes to fill out this online ALM Tools Survey.
