does it support https URLs? I remember having a problem with the old Hudson plugin for NetBeans because we use HTTPS with a self signed certificate. Also our projects are not publicly accessible, you need to log in.

It should support HTTPS as well as HTTP as far as I know. If not, it's a P2 DEFECT (steps to reproduce from scratch would be greatly appreciated).

I overlooked the second half of your message. Cookie-based login support has been newly added for this release; you should be prompted to log in if and when it is necessary. (Username is remembered; password needs to be entered once per IDE session, or perhaps if the server is restarted.) Only tested with security realm "Hudson's own user database", but should work also with "LDAP" and "Unix user/group database" as far as I know; likely will not work with "Delegate to servlet container" (i.e. legacy mode).

The Kenai is so cool .
Why not make it more general.
We need a task/issue manager and ci monitor.
There are some other projects deal with the same problems.
Cube°n(code.google.com/p/cubeon/) is a good task manager like Eclipse mylyn.
CodeBeamer provide NetBeans ALM
implement collaborative ALM management for CodeBeamer platform, it provide
project management and monitor functionity , it also include task/issue
NetBeans itself provide TaskList/User Task modules.
