KDE on OpenSolaris -> good job Pavel and Honza !

 

The title is quite self-explaining ! KDE is now available on OpenSolaris thanks the hard work of Pavel (you know him from this blog), and Honza Hnatek. More details on http://www.genunix.org/,  from Thur Aug 06 2009:

KDE on OpenSolaris has always been popular - but Suns' decision to go with Gnome left the KDE community to fend for themselves - which they have done with aplomb! :) Today we are pleased to support the OpenSolaris K Desktop Environment Project and make available the Korona live DVD distribution, based on OpenSolaris 2009.06, which boots right into KDE version 4.3 RC3. tryit After downloading, please verify the checksums. l10n packages for KDE 4.1.3 on OpenSolaris
