OpenSSO/FAM on Ubuntu

Quite a big news for me ! And I happened to know it quite by chance: our SQE Mahesh (mahesh_prasad_r) forwarded a mail to the G11n team, asking to see inspect a problem occuring on Ubuntu... Ubuntu ?? Cože\* ?? U-BUN-TU ??

I directly went the Federated Access Manager 8 Version Support Matrix page, and guess what I've seen there ! Ubuntu ! Cool :)

What does it mean for us -> actually more work :( But never mind, I'm quite exited to test it on Ubuntu, and there are not that many web containers supported under it:

Operating System/Container

Sun Java ES Web Server

Sun Java ES Application Server/Glassfish

BEA WebLogic

IBM WebSphere

Oracle Application Server

JBoss

Tomcat

Geronimo

Ubuntu 8.0.4

Not Supported

9.1 and GF v2

Not Supported

Not Supported

Not Supported

4.2.x

5.5.x and 6.x

2.x

So that's it, next round cycle, we'll see how FAM G11n look like on Ubuntu !

\* -> "Cože ?" [tsoje] means "What ?" in Czech.
