JD Edwards delivers new software products, new features and product enhancements to the market on a regular basis. Our top organizational goals are to deliver compelling, value add solutions to our customers, and to do so with high software quality, ensuring customers can achieve a rapid time to value and low risk. JD Edwards software is very high quality, and our quality trending remains positive as is evidenced in our solid customer satisfaction ratings, our low bug reported rate and very few customer escalations.
We believe in investing in quality, and in this post, I want to share with you our recent efforts as we are very excited about the impact and value customers can expect. In short we have stepped up our Beta testing software programs. “Beta” software refers to computer software that's not officially released to the market.
In our recent development projects, we sought out and engaged partners and customers to participate in our Beta Programs. The response we are experiencing is strong and the results are worth sharing.
We sought out partners to beta test new planned tools and technology features. Participating qualified partners included Auto Deploy, Circular Edge, Forza Consulting BV, GSI (Global Systems Integration), and Q Software Global Limited. Due to their efforts, the next tools release of JD Edwards will be ready for prime time! I'd particularly like to single out Auto Deploy and Forza for their technical expertise, detailed testing and feedback. Auto Deploy went so far as to send videos of the issues they were running into with the software. This greatly helped the support and development teams work with the reported bugs.
A successful beta program helps JD Edwards deliver a quality product. We can better evaluate the total customer experience and address bugs/issues before the software is GA. The beta testing allows us to analyze and improve real-world performance and test real-world compatibility. We are able to assess and improve the user experience, documentation, tutorials and other support materials.
From the customer perspective, knowing there are partners with early awareness and experience with the latest and greatest features should provide confidence in your planning adoption and uptake of new tools and technologies designed to advance your business.
